Artist Statement

Yanisa Thasanajuntanee is an art toy artist by uses mixed media art and needle-felt techniques. Graduated from King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, Bachelor of Fine and Applied Arts Program in Fine Art, Media Art, and Illustration Art.Yanisa’s works, she has been interested in animal forms since she was young, including the use of unique patterns of animals to be applied in each art. The concept of art is always related to the artist’s personal beliefs, other stories, and experiences. By using her character design as a tiger combined with her ethnic culture, Thai-Chinese. She has a goal to allow people in any social class to be able to possess and access good art at an affordable price. And she thinks that the art toy is her answer.
